Amitabh Bachchan who underwent two abdominal surgeries at Mumbai Sevenhills hospital is on the road of recovery. After developing some complications post surgery, doctors contemplating another surgery but gradually Big B showed sign of improvement and doctors dropped the idea of another surgery. Now that he is recovering, Big B will be discharged in a day or two.
Amitabh has been moving around in the room and feeling better. "Amitabh`s health is improving. Doctors will take a call regarding his discharge from the hospital by today (Monday) evening. He should be discharged in a day or two," a source told reporters.
Very soon he will be at home by the side of his granddaughter. Big B's health issues are related to the near-fatal accident on the sets of 'Coolie' in 1982. After the accident, he visited different hospitals at different time.
Many celebrities visited Big B after he admitted to Sevenhills hospital. Jaya Bachchan and his daughter Shweta Nanda took care of Big B in turns. Shweta used to bring home cooked food for her father. Aishwarya who remains 24/7 with her daughter came to see her father-in-law with ‘Beti B’, Abhishek Bachchan also spend time with his father in hospital.
Fans around the globe prayed for Amitabh Bachchan’s recovery.
