What does one do after finishing their UG? Some with good marks move to good colleges to study further. Well this story is not about them.
This is a story that shows the combined lives of three friends who got so low marks in their colleges that they can’t find another place to study. In the end they wine up doing far more than the ones with the marks.
Remo D’Souza debuts as a director with “FALTU” which turns out to be a good entertainer. A story of four friends three of which are actually faltu. Ritesh played by Jackky Bhagnani is the main lead in the movie and steers the whole story towards its end. After his exams he and his friends Puja(Pooja Gupta) and Nanj Nair go everywhere to get admission but all in vein.
Finally they turn to their friend Vishnu and ask him to talk to his father who is a UGC member to help them. He not only fails but also ends up getting the other three’s parents insulted. Fearing the worst from their parents and to satisfy them Ritesh comes up with a fake college. Vishnu helps making a website and that totally fools their parents. But more is to come for which they are helped by Googal Chand(Arshad) who also involves Baji Rao(Ritesh Deshmukh) in the total mess. They high actors and make a fake college just to satisfy their parents for a day. But later they find out that the students actors are infact real actors who come for admissions as directed by the web site. All hell breaks loose; they are angry and confused what to do. Emotionally driven youngsters decide to stay there and not face their parents
Ritesh meets his dad once and his words turn his mind. He decides to make the youth under him worth something. Initially it fails but thanks to Google chand and their Principle they learn what to do. They come up with the idea of Digital Education and also open a websites to help others like them learn. All goes well till Vishnu’s dad finds out and shuts the university. Later we see the brilliance of Remo’s choreography which is the highlight of the movie save them and their university.
The direction has been remarkable and so has been the locations which emphasises the whole movie. The choreography as one would expect from Remo is brilliant, and the acting of the members has been satisfying.
The songs also help the mood of the movie in its every step. Though there is a huge lack of logics in the movie, the bottom line is this is a good inspiring entertaining movie one could watch any day.
